Ski paradise „Wilder Kaiser – Brixental“
The Astberg chair lift is right in front of the Family and Sport Hotel Going and offers an access point to the largest connected skiing area of Austria, the ski resort „Wilder-Kaiser–Brixental“ in the midst of the Kitzbüheler Alps. 250 km ski runs and 93 lift facilities enable nearly unlimited skiing fun. Directly next to the hotel, you will also find the baby lift or beginners lift. Here, the little skiers can try their first swing turns. Modern snow making facilities guarantee for perfect snow conditions during the whole season.

Cross-country skiing in idyllic landscape
Going offers the ideal starting point into the more than 225 km long cross-country ski area along the Wilder Kaiser.

Winter magic
Winter hikes, tobogganing evenings, curling, convivial and hearty visits to the mountain huts and romantic horse drawn carriage rides - the winter in Going also has its very special charm for non skiers.

Alpine adventure
The CORDIAL Family and Sport Hotel Going is a member of the Tyrolean Hiking Hotels and offers numerous advantages for walkers and hikers: free hire of hiking poles, backpacks, weather protection and drinking bottle, at least three guided hikes per week, hiking snacks, hiking maps and tour suggestions and much more. Approximately 70 km well-kept trails beckon in the splendid landscape of the Kaisergebirge.

Bathing pleasure with a view on the „Wilden Kaiser“
The bathing lake Going was selected as the most beautiful nature bathing lake of Tyrol by an international jury. At the shallow beach with a separate children and non-swimmers’ area, the water warms up to pleasant 24° C degrees. The longest outdoor waterslide of Tyrol, the pirate ship and the sand area thrill the children. The 50.000 square meters large sunbathing area impresses with an incomparable view on the Wilde-Kaiser-Massif.

Hexenwasser (“Witches Water”) Hochsöll
For families with children a must see and do on a hot summer-day! On the Hochsöll plateau you will find a mystic water adventure world which is completely dominated by the witches of the Salve mountain, the Hohe Salve. The hike through the “witches’ water” appeals to all senses. Children build dams, swing themselves boldly across the witches brook or look over the shoulder of the landlady of the Stöcklhütte while she bakes bread. The family-friendly hiking trails lead along bubbling springs, past lush alpine meadows, through the Witches’ Forest with a tree ropeway. An experience for young and old alike.

Mountain biking and cycling
Challenging mountain bike trails and family-friendly bicycle paths characterize the Kaisergebirge. Beginners, professional athletes and families fully get their moneys’ worth.
